During the meeting current situation on the Internet market, introduction of new technologies, competitive conditions etc. were discussed.
Mykola Tomenko noted that these issues are top-priority for the Committee he chairs and stressed that the Committee will pay constant attention to the problems of Internet network.
Participants of the meeting expressed their critical position towards any intrusions of government and law enforcement bodies into regulation of the Internet network activity.
"Internet publications and Internet communities should act within the limits of self-regulation, defining general principles and controlling their implementation by all media market participants," as was emphasized during the meeting.
